What You Will Do
The Outpatient Clerk provides clerical and administrative support to the Pre-Admission area of Surgical Services. Responsible for obtaining, organizing, and managing patient documentation required for surgical and procedural preparation. Performs EKGs as needed and collaborates closely with nursing staff, physician offices and the Pre-Admission team to ensure charts are complete, accurate, and ready for nursing review and anesthesia evaluation. Provides front-line customer service to patients and families and helps maintain an organized and efficient workflow.
